How To Get Surround Yamaha Rx-v363 Yamaha Surround Sound Help?

Yamaha surround sound help? - how to get surround yamaha rx-v363

I just ordered Yamaha yht-380 receiver and speaker system. I have an InFocus projector, and I wondered whether I could connect the component cable directly from my DVD player to the projector and just connect the audio through the receiver, or should I attach the DVD player to the receiver Then the receiver to the projector? Basically, I have to go through the receiver for video or go directly to my projector. Thankls.

Going directly to the projector and is preferred to operate the audio receiver, as I've set up my system.

Running video through the receiver makes the system easy to use, but must ensure the bandwidth sharing of video clips is 90 MHz or higher for high-definition video book. May "component" switching receivers are only for standard-definition video developed.

Anyway. The video connections on the receiver to the video source that goes on TV. This is with sending all video sources to the TV and change compared to the entrance.

Suppose you have a cable box with component video outputs and a DVD player with component video outputs. If you use the component video cable to the TV and the avoidance of the receiver to the TV input selector to determine what you are watching (cable TV or DVD). But if you connect component video cables to the inputs of the receiver, then connect the component video outputs of your receiver to your TV with the INPUT of the receiver to determine what you see.

The only time this can be a problem when he want several sets of component video cables going to TV (as if it is installed, and does not want to see if the son of TV make-). Then you use the receiver to the video source that one of the cable, the TV brand will be chosen.

Also keep in mind that the recipient also select the audio source on TV. This is due to connect the cable box output and audio line DVD player to the receiver, so if you have one of these sources, you have for audio and video. Then, adjust the sound with the volume control on the receiver.

Currently I have my system set up, where I the audio and the video will jump to the cable TV box. Then run the audio output variable, a TV receiver and the changeVolume of the TV receiver (I left) in a particular configuration. I, because I love the TV volume to present a visual indication of the level of volume on the TV screen.
